Dr. Bruce Pate

Dr. Pate was born and raised in the Triangle area of North Carolina. After graduating from UNC-CH he served two years in the Peace Corps. He returned to UNC-CH where he earned a Master's degree in Public Health. He worked seven years as an environmental scientist in the Research Triangle Park before persuing a career in Optometry. Dr. Pate is a graduate of the Southern College of Optometry and a member of the American Optometric Association, North Carolina State Optometric Society and the Eastern District Optometric Society.

Dr. G. Blake Alexander

Optometric Center, P.A. was started by Dr. Blake Alexander over forty years ago. Dr. Alexander, a native of North Carolina, graduated from the Southern College of Optometry in 1957. After serving in the United States Air Force, he began practicing Optometry in Durham in 1961. Dr. Alexander's practice has long had a reputation of providing friendly service to its many patients. Dr. "A" retired from full-time practice in 2006.
